ABOVE: This old grainy photo shows me at age 17, performing on Main Street in Santa Monica.
Those little guys standing next to me were memorizing my synthesizer settings,
which they used later in life in their band Radiohead.
LEFT: I was only 17 when I toured with this band to Japan, Guam, Taiwan, and the Phillipines.
We each made $50 a week, and a good time was had by all. I recently attended the 50th birthday party for the cool
guy with the afro, Steve Taylor, who is now a very busy film composer.
